In Upstate South Carolina, MedFirst provides Home Care Services to private individuals in both home and facility settings. Our clients are typically people that need assistance with daily living, are recovering from an illness, or living with a chronic condition, and desire to remain in their own homes.
MedFirst offers a variety of Home Care Services, ranging from Companion Sitters to Registered Nurses. However, our primary Home Care Service is Certified Nursing Assistants (“CNAs”). CNAs can provide a number of client services, including:
- personal care (bathing, dressing, and ambulation)
- meal preparation and light housekeeping
- medication reminders
- assistance with transfer, walkers, and wheelchairs
- transportation
Our Home Care Services are available either in shifts (with a four hour minimum), or around the clock, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
MedFirst thoroughly screens our caregivers for personal and professional
integrity prior to their placement in your home. We directly employ all our
employees, and therefore, have responsibility for the payment of their wages,
payroll taxes, workers’ compensation insurance, and any other employer
obligations.
